SECURITY · File Integrity Verification

After Downloading,
Verify Before You Run It

Clash is built for users with some technical background — we recommend checking the file hash before installing, to confirm the installer wasn't tampered with in transit.

1

Download the Installer & Checksum for Your Platform

On this download page, every client comes with a SHA256 checksum — you'll find the value in the download details.

2

Compute the Installer's Hash Locally

Use your system's built-in command-line tools — no extra software needed. See the example commands on the right.

3

Compare With the Published Hash

If the result matches the value on the release page, the file is intact and trustworthy. If it doesn't match, re-download the file — do not run it.

Download & Install FAQ

Multiple clients for the same platform — which one should I choose?

Clients marked "Recommended" tend to be actively maintained with larger communities, so they're a safe default for most people. If a specific feature matters to you (like AI node selection or subscription management), check the one-line descriptions in the list before deciding. You can switch between clients anytime, and config files are mostly interchangeable.

A client has multiple architecture buttons (x64 / ARM64…) — which one do I click?

Each client has a separate download button per architecture — picking the wrong one will cause install or runtime errors. Here's a quick rule of thumb: most Windows / Linux desktops and laptops should use x64 / amd64; older 32-bit systems need x86 / 386; ARM devices (like Snapdragon laptops, Raspberry Pi, or some routers) need ARM64 / ARMv7; on Mac, check "About This Mac" first to confirm whether you have Apple Silicon (M-series chip) or Intel; on Android, arm64-v8a is the safest default, since it's what most phones use today. If you're still unsure and pick the wrong one, just re-download the correct button — it won't affect your system.

Are these clients completely free? Any hidden charges?

Every client listed on this page is provided free of charge under the GPL-3.0 license — no in-app purchases, no bundled ads. On iOS, Apple's App Store policy means Clash Plus must be obtained through the App Store, where it is also free to download; this is unrelated to the open-source license of the mihomo core itself.

Clash for Windows is dead. What should I use now?

CFW is no longer maintained and its repository has been deleted; we only keep an archived installer here for legacy users. New users should migrate to Clash Verge Rev (full-featured and actively maintained) or FlClash (simple and consistent) — both use the Mihomo core and are fully compatible with your old CFW configs.

How do I deploy the mihomo core on a Linux server?

Download the archive for your architecture, extract it, and grant execute permissions (chmod +x mihomo). Create your YAML config and run ./mihomo -d . We recommend using systemd for auto-start and opening ports 7890 (HTTP) and 7891 (SOCKS5).

Not sure whether to download x64 or ARM64?

Windows users can check "System type" under Settings → System → About; Mac users can click the Apple icon in the top-left and choose "About This Mac" — if the Chip/Processor field shows an Apple M-series chip, you have Apple Silicon; if it shows Intel, you have the Intel version.

macOS says "cannot verify developer" and won't open the app — what do I do?

This happens because community-built, open-source installers aren't signed by Apple. Right-click the app icon and choose "Open", or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow the app to run. This is expected and normal.

Windows SmartScreen blocks the app as an "unknown publisher" — what should I do?

Click "More info" in the popup, then "Run anyway". This happens because open-source projects don't purchase EV code-signing certificates — it doesn't mean the installer itself is risky. We recommend verifying the SHA256 checksum first for peace of mind.

Does it support automatic update checks?

Clients have built-in version checks, and we keep this page in sync with each client's latest release — update promptly to get performance improvements and bug fixes.
